The company, today now employs 10 tradesmen and apprentices and one of the employees is David's son James, who has also won prizes for excellence, at Huddersfield Technical College, so the family tradition is still continuing after 50 years.
Sadly Albert died in 2004, but he was proud of the way the company had developed and grown and that the name A E Haywood & Sons Ltd is held in high esteem within the building trades, with a reputation for very high levels of workmanship and quality building projects.
