• AEH Win Best Single New Dwelling Award

  In 2010, AEH won the West Yorkshire Built in Quality Award for the Best Single New Dwelling. When the building inspectors announced the prize, they commented that it was the 3rd time in 4 years that AEH had reached the finals and that their work was of a consistently high standard throughout the project.

  AEH was the only local company out of 5 Huddersfield area projects in the finals, to win an award.

• AEH Runner-up for Best Restoration & Conversion

  In 2008, AEH reached the finals of the West Yorkshire Built in Quality Awards in the category "Restoration and Conversion" for a total conversion of a derelict barn, retaining all the traditional features outside, but with a very cutting edge, high spec. on the inside.

  Unfortunately on the day of the judging, the judges couldn't gain access to the inside as the owners were away on holiday, so they were unable to witness the full impact of the project - nevertheless, the best 3 in each category reach the finals, which is a credit to the workmanship in it's self.

• AEH Win the Best Domestic Extension Award

  West Yorkshire Built In Quality Awards 2007, builders undertaking projects in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield are all eligible to take part in a prestigious Building Control Awards Scheme.

  Any size of project from new home, extensions and alterations through to commercial developments has the opportunity to scoop one of these awards.

  Each council's Building Control Surveyors nominate builders who achieve high standards of workmanship, and which comply with regulations, for an award. After judging, 3 schemes from each category were invited to the finals at a gala dinner held at Bagden Hall on the 15th June 2007.
